The GDF will feature over 40 speakers, including key stakeholders from U.S. government agencies, leading multilateral and non-governmental organizations, foreign governments, and the private sector. The 2016 GDF seeks to address the complex issues highlighted by the recently adopted Sustainable Development Goals. Participants will examine the role and purpose of official development assistance against a backdrop of global trends including rising incomes, rapid urbanization, uneven economic growth, and widespread unemployment. In particular, discussions will explore ways in which official donors and key partners, including the private sector, civil society, and multilateral institutions can improve livelihoods, strengthen governance, and facilitate access to key resources including food, energy, and infrastructure. See the full agenda at CSIS.org (http://csis.org/event/2016-global-development-forum-complete-agenda) . Please RSVP and select which panels you plan to attend here (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1CA4x9jszkk1Kff-DzxSOvIjPS9PsFRAwwoIyQKe-ohE/viewform) . The GDF is an annual component of CSIS's ongoing "Chevron Forum on Development" series, which seeks to highlight innovative approaches and the role of the private sector in global development. https://twitter.com/CSIS https://www.facebook.com/CSIS.org http://us11.forward-to-friend1.com/forward?u=833ec271d60c6750d9c3baaac&id=b69b60cece&e= ============================================================ Copyright © 2016 Center for Strategic & International Studies, All rights reserved. 202-887-0200 | ** www.CSIS.org (http://www.CSIS.org) Center for Strategic & International Studies 1616 Rhode Island Avenue, NW Washington, DC 20036 USA ** Update subscription preferences (http://csis.us11.list-manage2.com/profile?u=833ec271d60c6750d9c3baaac&id=f326fc46b6&e=e55aaf27de*) ** Unsubscribe from this list (http://csis.us11.list-manage1.com/unsubscribe?u=833ec271d60c6750d9c3baaac&id=f326fc46b6&e=e55aaf27de&c=cbbe6107d
