Here in Virginia, Mitt Romney and his allies are flooding
the airwaves with ads attacking the President and his record.

But, while Romney's strategy is based on cluttering up the
TV with attack ads, our strategy here in Virginia has
always been based on the strength of our grassroots
organization -- and neighbors like you are an important
part of that.

That's why this weekend, folks from D.C. are heading to
Virginia to talk to voters about President Obama's
accomplishments and recruiting volunteers to help build
Virginia's organization.

What: Canvass in Northern Virginia

Meet at: Democratic National Committee Headquarters
430 South Capitol Street SE
Washington, DC 20003

When: Saturday, September 22nd or Sunday,
September 23rd
Shifts start at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Saturday,
and 11:00 a.m. on Sunday

Virginians are going to be inundated with all sorts of
misinformation between now and Election Day. But we know
that actually engaging voters in one-on-one conversations
can help cut through a lot of that clutter and make them
more likely to come out and cast a vote for the President
and other Democrats this fall.

Organizers here have been hitting the streets every weekend
to get the truth out and ask folks to step up and
volunteer. We've made some amazing progress -- and I know
the volunteers here will be excited to work side-by-side
with folks from D.C.
