TOMORROW, August 29 at 1:00pm ET, in advance of Governor Romney’s address to the American Legion in Indianapolis and former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice’s remarks at the RNC Convention, the Truman National Security Project will hold a press conference call to discuss Gov. Romney's failed record on veterans and his endorsement of the Ryan budget’s cuts to national security and veterans' programs.

Truman Project Vice President Michael Breen will be joined by Delaware Attorney General and Iraq War Army Veteran Beau Biden, former Congressman and U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of India Tim Roemer and former Asst. Sec. of Defense Doug Wilson, to discuss how Romney's policies as Governor and his recent endorsement of the Ryan budget show his fundamental misunderstanding of what it takes to care for our America’s troops and keep America safe. They will also set the stage for former Sec. Rice’s convention speech.
