Ok, in the category of shameless self promotion ...

We were proud to see the Politico story over the weekend where ND Republicans admitted
in a series of private emails that our ads for Heidi Heitkamp's U.S. Senate campaign
were "much better" than those of her Republican opponent, Congressman Rick Berg.
We always believe the best candidates allow us to make the best ads -- so this
is a tribute to Heidi and the extraordinary campaign she is waging under the leadership
of campaign manager Tessa Gould, pollster Mark Mellman, direct mail guru Joe Hansen,
Rory Steele and the rest of the leadership at the DSCC, and a great campaign staff.

We still have a long ways to go and no one is counting any proverbial chickens.
But since it's so rare to see an admission like this from Republicans (or Democrats
for that matter!), especially before an election, we decided we should share it
