That is very helpful. I think it would make sense to schedule the call as a follow up to the meeting on Thursday. We can get a readout on the meeting and then a call with Bob would serve as a good follow up. Thanks for the offer. Can we touch base after the meeting on Thursday and figure out a good time to schedule? Best, Eric Eric D. We mentioned that Bob Lentz (featured below) would be coming onto the BlackRidge Board when formed. I was on a new BlackRidge investor conference call (Marc can update) this weekend where Lentz shared some specific inside baseball relative to DOD enthusiasm/funding for BlackRidge as part of the Cyber solution. As a highly credible, "interested 3rd party", Lentz shared his perspective on the uniqueness of BlackRidge relative to competitors in the market as well as the scalability of the technology across broad commercial and governmental sectors. In addition to being on a current DOD task force and member of the Automotive Safety Council, he is on the cyber hall of fame nominating committee and per below, a Board Member of FireEye--- FireEye is a fan of BlackRidge and there are potential partnering opportunities in the future. The same is true for the firewall manufacturers as they are having thru-put problems which we of course significantly reduce. Given Hunter's comments during our meeting that BlackRidge may be a bit earlier stage revenue than Rosemont Seneca normally considers, yet also recognizing BlackRidge to be a bit of a different animal, we wanted to offer an independent conversation with Bob Lentz which you may find helpful reconciling both near as well as intermediate/longer term DOD and Governmental revenue, as well as comment on the commercial $$ opportunity. Lentz is available to speak either Thursday or Friday this week by phone or next week. You may prefer to speak with him before the Thurs meeting with the BlackRidge team--- may make the meeting more effective for you, or as a follow up-----I leave to your judgement should you find this helpful. Thanks Eric---let me know and I will be happy to set up the call with Bob. Kind Regards, Scott Former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Robert F. Lentz Joins FireEye's Board of Directors Lentz to Help Define & Implement FireEye's Federal Go-To-Market Strategy Milpitas, California - Jan 20, 2010 - <http://www.fireeye.com/> FireEye, Inc., the leader in modern malware protection systems, today appointed Robert F. Lentz to the company's Board of Directors. Lentz, a seasoned cyber security expert and former Chief Information Assurance Officer (CIAO) for the Department of Defense (DoD), will play an active role in further defining and implementing FireEye's go-to-market strategies for combating custom and targeted malware attacks in Federal and enterprise networks. Lentz has more than 35 years of experience and service to the U.S. government and its cyber-crime and information assurance efforts. As the DoD's CIAO, Lentz oversaw the Defense-wide Information Assurance (IA) program. This organization plans, monitors, coordinates and integrates IA activities across the DoD. Simultaneously, Lentz served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Cyber, Information and Identity Assurance in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense, Networks and Information Integration/Chief Information Officer. Prior to serving as CIAO of the DoD, Lentz spent 26 years at the National Security Agency. Notably, Lentz received the NSA Resource Manager of the Year Award, the Defense Meritorious Service Award, the 2006 "Top 20" Excellence.gov <http://excellence.gov/> Award, the 2003 Presidential Rank Award and the 2004 "Federal 100" award. In 2004, Lentz also received the highest-level honorary award the Department can bestow on a civilian employee, the prestigious Secretary of Defense Distinguished Civilian Service Award. "I'm pleased to be joining the Board of Directors of such an innovative IT security company," said Lentz. "FireEye's cyber security solutions help protect against the highly sophisticated and custom malware attacks targeted at the U.S. Federal Government and enterprise networks, including Critical Information Protection (CIP) sectors, the Academic community and State and Local government. I look forward to amplifying the company's federal sector growth to strengthen our nation's cyber security infrastructure."
