Per my email this morning. Would you be willing to email Prime Minister Maliki's Chief of Staff on Tom's behalf - see below draft? According to Tom decisions are being made on Thursday Baghdad time. He also says that the COS knows of your involvement already but he thinks an email would be helpful in putting it over the edge. I can judge either way. Tom also says he will put us under an advisory contract (he mentioned $50K a month) if he gets this - take that for what it is worth.

Let me know and we can get the email out tomorrow morning if you want to do it.
