Hi folks, sorry I forgot to send this to you on Friday. I’ve included Claudine Malone here, our new Program Coordinator. Claudine is a retired New Castle County police officer, and is a great addition to the team. Patty was at a D2L board meeting this week in Dallas, so it was a relatively light programming week. However, at the meeting, Patty learned that over 27,000 adults have gone through Stewards of Children in Delaware - making us the state closest to reaching it’s 5% tipping point goal. 1. On Monday, the BBF welcomed it’s newest employee, Claudine Malone - our program coordinator. We’re incredibly excited to have her on the team. 2. On Monday, Patty and Claudine attended the Delaware Alliance for Nonprofit Association’s Spring meeting. 3. On Monday (Josh) and Thursday (Josh and Claudine) the BBF had meetings regarding the golf and tennis invitational. We’re on track with registrants and are beginning to focus on building out the tennis portion of the event. 4. On Monday, Josh had a conversation with the ED and CMO of the JED Foundation (a suicide prevention non-profit based in NYC). The BBF and JED will work together on promoting JED’s messaging around the Netflix show 13 Reasons Why. Email and social content will roll out over the next week. 5. On Tuesday, Claudine (not wasting any time!) led a Stewards of Children training for the Wilmington University Public Safety Department. 15 people were trained. 6. On Wednesday, Josh met with the CEO of Unique Images, a Delaware based printing company about setting up an online BBF store. They’re putting together a proposal and a list of items we’d include in the store.
