I was in his hospital room with him and his brother (and a few o=hers) when Joe was first sworn in as a United States Senator. But my=support of Beau is not inherited. I think he is an outstanding perso= of very high character and I admire him for who he
is. I think you are lucky to be working for him. I will miss y=u at John's office and I thank you for all your help. Beau has a=lot on his plate but, if things turn out well in Court, he may go down as =ne of Delaware's best Attorneys General and that
is no small accomplishment. He has stood his ground on a couple of l=gislative issues against some powerful pressure. He plays his govern=ental role at the expense of his political well being and that's rare.=nbsp; He also could do something on the national level
at the state AG association or go to the Justice Dept in Washington or see= reelection or run for something else. Obviously 2014 presents=some issues politically and I have thought about them. I am still op=imistically looking forward to a Delaware Democratic
sweep in 2012. That unfortunately does not necessarily clarify the f=ture.</font></span></div>
