On behalf of your dedicated House of Sweden Management team, I would like to apologize for the triggered fire alarm system today. Siemens were on site testing our fire alarms and set off the audible fire alarm system and strobes by mistake. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

In other news, please do not miss out on the opportunity to check out the “Better Shelter” temporary shelter innovation now on display by Embassy of Sweden in our Event Center. Better Shelter is a Swedish humanitarian innovation project and a social enterprise owned by the philanthropic Housing for All Foundation. Through smart design, innovation and modern technology they strive to create a safer, more dignified home away from home for the millions of people that have been displaced by conflict. In addition, House of Sweden will be closed for regular maintenance and building services on Monday, May 29th, in observance of Memorial Day.
