Robert, I want to clear something up. Everything we've been fighting for comes down to Election Day -- but that doesn't mean this fight is about one day. It's not. It's about every day afterward.

And Robert, the list of what we want to accomplish afterward is not short, and it's not going to be easy. Even if we win in November, we're still going to have to push hard to make this vision we're fighting for a reality.

So when I ask you to invest in this campaign, I'm not just asking you to make sure things go our way in November. I'm asking you to help us do well enough that next year, we've got the buy-in from everybody in CA to make bold moves on reforming criminal justice, investing in education, protecting our environment, ending homelessness, defending women's rights, and so much more. I need you to donate so we can run a campaign that doesn't just allow us to change the status quo, but that makes people in every part of this state impatient for us to do it.
