GEORGETOWN FRENCH MARKET – APRIL 28-APRIL 30
SAVE THE DATE! The Georgetown French Market<https://www.georgetownfrenchmarketdc.com/> returns Friday through Sunday, April 28-30, 2017.
The Georgetown French Market, one of the District's most anticipated shopping weekends, marks the triumphant return of the spring season. Georgetown's Book Hill neighborhood will transform into an inviting open-air market as the over 40 locally-owned merchants, restaurants, salons and galleries display discounted items and unique finds. BIKE TO WORK DAY – MAY 19
The Georgetown BID, along with Commuter Connections and the Washington Area Bicyclist Association, invites you to join us for the 2017 Bike to Work Day on Friday, May 19, 2017, 7:30 - 9:30 a.m.
Join nearly 17,000 area commuters for a celebration of bicycling as a clean, fun and healthy way to get to work. The Georgetown BID is sponsoring a “pit stop” where commuters can enjoy refreshments, snacks and bicycle-themed giveaways.
Once again, the Georgetown Waterfront Park will be the site of our pit stop. Last year, the popular location drew approximately 400-500 riders on their way to work creating a fun start to the day! Registration is free<http://www.biketoworkmetrodc.org/archives/2852>. All registrants will automatically be entered in a drawing to win a free bike. The first 16,000 people who register will also receive a free T-shirt, and first 300 to stop by receive a Bike to Work Day water bottle.

Already a popular Arlington staple, South Block features awesome smoothies, acai bowls and juice. The French macaron mecca opened in Paris in 1862 and is now one of the most well-known bakeries in the world. The Georgetown location will be only the fourth in the U.S.

+ Say Cheese (1132 29th St) - It's going to be a grilled cheese-focused eatery, which no one seems to be complaining about.
+ Church (3222 M St) - The eatery and taproom will serve casual food, cocktails and beer, with a space to hang out, drink Vigilante coffee and hold meetings. The space will be filled with old church pews, mantles and fireplaces, truly making it one of a kind in the neighborhood.
