The 24 hour clock begins at noon! Why HT Needs You Again You may be thinking, "I sponsored an animal last week," or "HT just had a big fundraising day." And you are right, but there is a reason WE NEED YOU AGAIN. HT participates in 3 separate contests each year, where we earn significant prize money because of your donations. This year the dates are close, which we cannot control. But we will not have another big impact like this until November. That's a long way away, and summer is always a hard time for our animals and adoptions. Do More 24 is a 24 hour online fundraising effort where local non-profits rally their supporters to raise lots of funds and compete for thousands of dollars in additional prize money. Every year we are incredibly successful because of YOU our amazing volunteers, adopters, and supporters. All we ask is a small donation of $24 to help us reach our goal and earn prize money. To earn prizes, donations will count only once as a "unique donor" ... so helping us spread the word to other animal lovers will make a huge difference! The timing is different this year! The 24-hour fundraising period begins at noon on Thursday and ends at noon on Friday. Donate Now Prizes are awarded in multiple categories throughout the day. THURSDAY POWER HOURS Donations at these times help us win! 12 noon - 2 p.m. $5,000 Prize Awarded to the organization that receives the most individual donations (unique gifts) of $24 or more during this time. 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. $1,500 Prize Awarded to the organization that receives the most individual donations (unique gifts) of $48 or more during this time. 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. $1,500 Prize (2 winners) Awarded to the 2 organizations that receive the most individual donations (unique gifts) of $24 or more during this time.
