The Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday released transcripts of the committee's closed-door interviews with attendees of a June 2016 meeting at Trump Tower with a Kremlin-connected lawyer, including the president's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr.

The judiciary panel's chairman, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), earlier this year decided to release the transcripts of the meeting - a key moment in the Trump campaign's communications with Russia before the 2016 election that was billed as a chance to discuss negative information about Hillary Clinton.
