Dear Friend:

I want to once again ask you to support my friend, Cory Booker. Many of us have been fortunate to follow Cory's career since he moved back to New Jersey after graduating Yale Law School. Cory has always had passion for change and a gift for expressing that passion articulately in a way we had never seen before. Cory has never lost his passion.

Today that passion compels him to take strong positions for progressive ideals on the national platform. As a United States Senator, he has championed issues like fostering opportunity zones in our cities, keeping DACA students in America, and stopping gun violence. Hardly a week goes by where he doesn't affirm the faith we all had in him when we sent him to Washington in 2013.

Now Cory faces the 2020 election, and we need to put him in a position to continue the fight he begun in 1997 - the fight to make America sane again; the fight to heal the fissures that have erupted in our American democracy; the fight to have Cory lead us to a place where we can turn on the television and not have to wince at what is happening to our world. Please join me on May 31st in Newark as we help Cory continue to give voice to his passion for the good of our country.
