R.Hunter, climate change is no longer some far-away problem - it's here, happening right now in Delaware and across the rest of the world.

Under the Trump administration, we're heading in the wrong direction - the administration continues to ignore science and push measures that harm our environment. Instead of trying to make our energy sources cleaner, Trump is currently pushing to expand offshore drilling along the Atlantic coastline.

Scientists are clear about this: More offshore drilling would risk avoidable damage to our environment, our economy and our health. As someone who lives in the lowest-mean-elevation state in the country, I can tell you firsthand that Delawareans are already seeing the dire consequences of rising sea levels and a warming planet.

We cannot allow Donald Trump to endanger American lives just so he can pander to Big Oil.
