Dear Sir/Madam: The District of Columbia Department of Motor Vehicles is committed to providing you with an outstanding customer service experience. You are receiving this letter because you are registered in the Department of Motor Vehicles' Ticket Alert Service program. As a Ticket Alert Service (TAS) accountholder, you have the option to receive near real-time notification of ticket related activity on vehicles and a single driver license. You can receive notice when tickets are issued, reminder emails about ticket deadlines or penalties. DMV has added a NEW boot eligible notification to your TAS options. A vehicle is boot eligible when there are two (2) or more 61-day old, outstanding parking or photo enforcement tickets. You can now receive a notification BEFORE your vehicle is booted! This will allow you to avoid the assessment of a boot fee and the inconvenience of having your vehicle immobilized and or impounded by paying your unpaid tickets online. To add this new alert to your TAS account, please log on to your account at https://wmq1.etimspayments.com/pbw/include/dc_tas/login_page.jsp Select, Edit My Alerts. Select: Notify me before I become Boot Eligible You will now receive a TAS alert before your vehicle is booted, if you no longer wish to receive notifications about this type of alert or services, log in to your account and change the alerts that are enabled. Do not reply to this email. This is an unmonitored account and any email sent to this address will not be answered. Sincerely, District of Columbia Department of Motor Vehicles
