Monthly Newsletter from JVC Northwest with news, updates, resources, & job opportunities. Message from the Executive Director We are looking forward to our annual Seattle Benefit this Sunday, May 20 and are thrilled to honor Br. Fred Mercy as the recipient of the 2018 Fr. Jack Morris, S.J. Memorial Award, which recognizes individuals who exemplify Jack’s dedication to living out our four values of spirituality, community, social and ecological justice, and simple living, as well as his inspiration of thousands of Jesuit Volunteers. No one embodies this legacy like Fred, a long-time friend and companion to Jack and a mentor, supervisor, inspiration, and friend to Jesuit Volunteers and the JVC Northwest community for decades. We are privileged to recognize Fred’s lifetime commitment to working for the common good and his years of faith-filled service. -Jeanne Haster JVC Northwest News Join our Team!
