The PA Athletic Committee, which I have served as co-chair of this past year, has put together an amazing event focusing on girls and sports which will happen this Thursday at SFS at 6PM. The President of the WNBA Lisa Borders, plus star Mystics players Monique Currie (D.C. Native) and Elena Delle Donne (Olympic Gold Medalist) will share their experiences and discuss the value of athletics and team sports for elementary, middle and high school girls, as well as life lessons they have learned.

The event, Girls Who Play: The Power of Sports for Girls, will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Robert L. Smith Meeting Room. I’m excited about this event and I hope to see you and our team in attendance.
