Mel and I spoke this afternoon and I sent him a revised engagement
letter, so if you touch base with him, we should be good to go.

Re the fundraiser, I would love to help. Here is the question: I am
hosting a dinner that night myself and would prefer to do this when I
can come and when I can most effectively get others to come --- which
would be if I were actually there to introduce, etc. So, it's up to
you: You can have my check for the max or you can have me participate in
the next event in a more helpful way. Either way is fine with me. I am
a huge Beau fan.

I hope you and Mel were able to catch up this week. I will circle back
with Mel and then we can figure out next steps regarding getting
together with the VP, etc.


On a separate note, Hunter and I are organizing the first event in DC
for Beau's re-election as AG on March 18th and would love it if you
could be a host/attend/contribute. We are asking hosts to max out at
$1200 (or raise $1200 if they can't max out). Ideally, if you could
also find a few additional people at Wilmer Hale who would be interested
in being helpful as well that would be great.
