EMAIL DETAILS

TPC Members and Juniors

In an effort to improve communication between Members and our team with regards to the Junior Golf Programs here at TPC Potomac I will begin sending out weekly emails for parents and juniors outlining the weeks events and any news related to junior golf. I am also trying to get our Junior rosters more organized as to what Juniors are participating and in what programs are they participating in. So please after reading this email could I have everyone who has a junior that participates in one of our programs (9 or 18 hole interclub, PGA Jr. League, etc) please send me an email with your Juniors name, age, and correlating program.

This week in Junior golf we have as follows:

Wednesday FUNdamentals Clinic
This Wednesday evening, July 9th at 5:00 PM, I will continue to host the weekly FUNdamentals Program. This week the topic will be, the always exciting, driver! We will focus not only increasing the distance of our drivers but learning how to find the fairways consistently. 300 yard drives are great but only if we can find it once it lands. To register for this program please send me an email at kdean@pgatourtpc.com as it helps to prepare for the class

Junior Golf Academy
Starting this Tuesday, July 8th, and ending Friday, July 11th, we will be hosting one of our week long Junior Golf Academies. Classes run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This is a great time to introduce your junior golfer to the great game of golf in a fun atmosphere. The classes are instruction base and will cover all facets of the game including etiquette, rules, full swing, short game, and putting. Juniors must be at least 5 years of age and to sign up you may call the golf shop and one of our golf shop coordinators would be happy to assist you. The fee for the week is $275.00 for members and $300.00 for their guest.

At the moment this is all we have this upcoming week. I am working with local area golf professionals to reschedule our matches from this past week and will notify everyone once the dates have been set. Look forward to seeing everyone around the club this week and hope everyone had a fantastic holiday weekend with their family and friends. As always if you have any questions or concerns feel free to let me know as I would be happy to help.

Best,
