I have taken the liberty of reaching out to you once again to inquire in confidence regarding your father, Vice President Biden's future ambition. Needless to say, I have had the utmost respect for your father since we were children. In 1981, after introducing me to Mrs. Biden I can remember saying to him in the well of the senate chamber before session that I thought he would be president in years to come. I knew that as a republican than and I know it now. Anyone who knew him well could believe it as he has always had a deep love and comittment to his family. I always said anyone who loved his family like your father would always be successful. Moreover, I appreciate you dropping by my office to discuss matters with me in 2006. However, with your father committing to Sen. Obama things with us were not able to materialize understandably. With all things considered, I would like for you to know that I would be honored to
participate in supporting the Vice President should he decide to pursue the presidency. In the meantime, I leave tomorrow for New York, Houston, Atlanta for business travel over the next two weeks.
