TO: MSFS Faculty FROM: Tony RE: Ashley Koch Donohue It is with mixed-emotions that I report that Ashley Koch Donohue will be leaving Georgetown University. After six and a half years of dedicated work with the Master of Science in Foreign Service program, Ashley and her husband are moving to Chicago, where he has received an exciting career offer and Ashley will be continuing her career in higher education. Ashley joined Georgetown in 2008 to support the academic and co-curricular activities of MSFS. In her time at MSFS, Ashley has brought energy and order to activities such as the NYC Trip, MSFS Orientation, and Graduation/Tropaia. Advising student clubs, the MSFS Student Council, and directing the MSFS Leadership Initiative, Ashley has distinguished herself in effectively advancing student engagement in and out of the classroom. In 2012, Ashley took on the role of Assistant Director of Academic Affairs at MSFS, furthering her support for students and faculty with great enthusiasm and professionalism. In all these roles, I have been consistently impressed with Ashley's creative and innovative thinking. All of us on the leadership team could rely on her to offer insightful advice and depend upon her to make good things happen. Her time with us has been critical in making MSFS a better place! A proud native of Ohio, Ashley's move to Chicago is the Midwest's gain and our collective loss. I certainly am not alone in both lamenting her departure and wishing her all the best. Ashley's last day in the office will be August 1st. Thanks SO MUCH, Ashley
