Friday, May 20th is our Class Play. Afterwards, we will gather in the classroom for a Cast Party. We are asking parents of children with last names between Lee and Weiss to supply refreshments for that event. Each family can choose 1 item from the list below (2 families can bring the items marked with a (2). (If you have already brought snacks this year and would prefer not to do so again, that's fine.)

Water (large bottles -- we will have paper cups)
Juice
Coffee (2-- 1 reg and 1 decaf)
Fruit (2)
Bagels
Sweet bread or muffins (2)
Sweet treats (2)
Paper goods (napkins/plates/cups/forks)

APRIL 26: MEETING FOR WORSHIP
You are always welcome to join your child in the classroom for Meeting for Worship. On April 26 the following classes will be in the LS Meetinghouse: K, 1, 4.

APRIL 27 PARENT PEER GROUP MEETINGS
The LS Community Health Initiative's Spring parent peer group meetings, where parents meet to discuss parenting issues, are coming. Grades 1 (LS Meetinghouse) and 2 (Multipurpose Room) are on April 27, 7:30 to 9 pm. Grades 3 (LS Meetinghouse) and 4 (Multipurpose Room) are on May 10, 7:30 to 9 pm.

MAY 2: STRATEGIC PLAN UPDATE
Light refreshments served at 6:30 pm, program run 7-9 pm. Join Head of School Tom Farquhar, the All-School Parents Association and the Sidwell Friends Board of Trustees for an update on Sidwell Friends School's Strategic Plan at the New Quaker Meeting House on the Wisconsin Avenue Campus. MAY 6: TIME TO CHECK THE LOST AND FOUND
On May 6 volunteers will clean out the lost and found bin and donate unclaimed items to Martha's Table. Please check the bin before May 6.

MAY 7: COLLECTING HOUSEHOLD ESSENTIALS FOR A WIDER CIRCLE
Spring clean, recycle and do your part to fight poverty-all at once! Bring gently-used household essentials to the Spring Festival on May 7, 3-5 pm. Donations will go to A Wider Circle, a local non-profit that helps families just moving out of shelters and into homes. Look for A Wider Circle's truck on the field to drop off. MAY 7: VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO ASSIST COUNTRY AMBASSADORS
