TPC Members and Juniors,

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend and hopefully you got a chance to see our special guest that was here on Saturday! I would also like to thank all of the Juniors who attended the Junior Golf Academy this past week as it was a ton of fun and everyone did an excellent job. It is so great to see so many Juniors excited about getting into golf. Moving forward to this week we have a couple matches set up for our Interclub and PGA Jr. League teams as well as the Wednesday FUNdamentals clinic. The schedule for the week is as follows:

Nine Hole Interclub
The match is scheduled for Tuesday July 15 at 8 AM. It will be held here at TPC Potomac and we will be hosting Manor CC. In an effort to create more openings for our members play will start on the back nine. Since tee times will be starting at 8 AM it is important for everyone to get here early to warm up. We still could use a few more players for the match, so if you are able to make it and within the age requirements, please send me an email with your Juniors name and I will add him or her to the roster.

Wednesday FUNdamentals
This week the topic will be hitting fairway woods and hybrids. We will focus not only on increasing the distance of our long metals but also learning when and where to play them. With the length of many of our holes here at the club, many of our Juniors rely on these clubs to get to the green in regulation. To register for this program please send me an email at kdean@pgatourtpc.com as it helps to prepare for the class.

PGA Jr. League
We have the make up match against Congressional scheduled for this Saturday July 19th at 5 PM. The match will be held here at TPC Potomac. We again are very light on participation for this match and more players are need. If you are in town this weekend and your Junior would like to play simply just send me an email and I will register them for the match.

The weather this week is questionable at times and I will let everyone know if something changes as a result of it. I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend and I look forward to seeing everyone throughout the week. Again if you have any questions at all regarding any of our junior programs feel free to contact me at anytime as I am always happy to help.

Best,
