Dear Mr. Biden, Hope all is going well with you and the family. After speaking with Naomi today, I decided to write this email to give you a better idea of the jobs I have applied to in the past and where I would ideally like to be. Over the past year, my primary recruiting focus has been on investment banks- both bulge bracket firms and boutiques. At several of these firms I was able to make significant progress in their recruitment processes. The ones where I made the most progress were: UBS, Nomura, Perella Weinberg Partners, Barclays (LA office) I was able to get very far (final rounds) with Perella, Barclays and Nomura but did not get a final offer for varying reasons. Barclays couldnt hire me for visa reasons, Perella had already filled their analyst class but have/had me on a very short wait list, and with Nomura I simply didn't make it through the final round. Furthermore, I applied to the investment banking divisions of all big bulge bracket firms such as: Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Bank of America to name a few. I also applied to dozens of investment banking boutiques such as: Evercore, Moelis, Greenhill, Jefferies, Houlihan Lokey, Centerview Partners, Lazard. As I mentioned in our phone call, my top choice has been, and still is, to work at an investment bank here in the US- whether it be at a bulge bracket firm or a boutique. However, I also have looked, and continue to look, at other opportunities that I think would offer a valuable skill set. For example, I was very interested in a small strategy and consulting firm in DC called Avascent (they also couldn't hire a foreigner). I reached the final round at AIG corporate strategy. Finally, when I was applying to internships last year I got extended an offer from the REIT "SL Green" yet I chose to go to Atlas Advisors, in spite of being very tempted to to take the offer. That is all from my side. I apologize for the overload of information but I thought it would be better to give you as good a picture as possible. Thank you very much for your time and help. Best, Bassem
