Welcome to your weekly #TeamLisa update. With under 100 days until the Democratic Primary in September we want to make sure everyone is up-to-date on all our campaign is doing. Here are some key updates:

Our Team is Growing. It's time to ramp up our grassroots campaign, so please help us welcome Grassroots Director Ted York & Deputy Grassroots Director Maija Hall to #TeamLisa! Ted & Maija will be working closely with all of you, our supporters, and volunteers across the state to help spread the word about Lisa. Lisa Takes a Stand Against Gun Violence and Leading on Policy. Last week in the wake of the tragedy in Orlando, Lisa released “Common Sense Safety: a Plan to Reduce Gun Violence in America.” As a mother, Lisa believes no parent in this country should have to worry about their child being gunned down at school or in their neighborhood.

This is the second policy proposal that Lisa has rolled out in this race. Last month she announced her 7-point Economic Plan for Women and Families. You can view that plan here and be sure to read Lisa’s op-ed in the Delaware News Journal.

Upcoming Events:

June 30th Fundraising Deadline. Lisa and the finance team are busy making calls to raise the resources needed to communicate with voters. You can contribute at www.lisabluntrochester.com to help Lisa's efforts. This deadline is our best chance to show the media, pundits and Democrats across Delaware that we have what the resources we need to win before we head into these critical final months.

July 4th. We've got a busy July 4th weekend approaching, with parades across Delaware on Monday. Lisa and the team will be appearing in parades in Smyrna, Hockessin and Dover. Plus we're going to have a #TeamLisa caravan traveling from parade to parade! Email ted@lisabluntrochester.com if you want to walk with us!

Women for Lisa. We'll be kicking off our Women for Lisa events on Wednesday, July 7th with a phone bank and wine party at our #TeamLisa HQ, 520 Greenhill Avenue in Wilmington. One note on office locations: Like the Obama campaign in 2008, we won't be opening office locations throughout the state; instead, we'll be opening homes. If you'd like to join us on July 7th for our phone bank or volunteer your home as a #TeamLisa staging location, please contact Maija at maija@lisabluntrochester.com for details.
