Dear Hunter,

Hope this finds you well. Kathleen and I are in Luxembourg — JK swore me in as Ambassador a couple of months ago. It’s a very small country (like if Delaware were a country!), but an interesting time to be in Europe.

I’m writing to ask you if you might be willing to put our daughter Kaye in touch with someone at the World Food Program. She just graduated from Boston College in May and is interested in working for an international NGO in either D.C. or NYC. She tells me that WFP isn’t advertising for any positions on its website, but things can change quickly. Kaye is obviously looking for that “first” job after college, but she has done a number of worthwhile internships, and, though admittedly biased, I think she would be added value. Again, it would be useful for her to meet someone at the program and try to get on the radar screen.

Needless to say, if you ever find yourself in Europe and are looking for a place to stay, you are welcome here!

Best,

David
