R.Hunter -- They're at it again, but this time it's in Indiana. Last night, Indiana Republicans knocked out their own moderate senator, Dick Lugar, in a contentious primary battle where Sarah Palin and the Tea Party Express spent millions of dollars so their Tea Party candidate, Richard Mourdock, could win the primary and be their hope in November. If this sounds a little familiar to you, you're not alone. Democrats in Indiana now have the same opportunity we had in Delaware in 2010, and we need to make sure we get the same result. We now have the chance to elect a Democrat who will stand with us to protect working families and move our country forward. His name is Joe Donnelly. Joe's been a proud Hoosier for more than 30 years, a small business owner and public servant who started on the school board and is now representing Indiana's 2nd District in Congress. I'm not asking you to make a donation - just to learn a little more about Joe and maybe to sign up for his email list: http://action.joeforindiana.com/signup_page/coons R.Hunter: this election could make or break the progress our country has made these last few years. The balance in the U.S. Senate rides on races like Joe's in Indiana, and in order for me to keep fighting for you, we need more people like Joe in Washington, standing up for middle-class families day-in and day-out. I don't need to tell you how disastrous the Tea Party agenda would be for our country: dangerous cuts to important services and a tax system that continues to squeeze working families while freeing millionaires and billionaires from paying their fair share. Join me in supporting Joe Donnelly for U.S. Senate in Indiana by signing up for his campaign: http://action.joeforindiana.com/signup_page/coons Our country can't afford someone like Richard Mourdock in the Senate vouching for millionaire tax breaks at the expense of funding for first responders, affordable health care, and college tuition assistance. If Mourdock had his way, he'd even go one step further than Rick Perry and eliminate the Departments of Energy, Commerce, Education, and Housing and Urban Development. Sound familiar? Sarah Palin, the Club for Growth and the Tea Party Express will do whatever they can to knock Joe down and get their guy in. We didn't let it happen in Delaware, and we can't let that happen in Indiana. Learn more about Joe Donnelly, sign up and spread the word: we can help Indiana elect a Democrat to the Senate if we work together: http://action.joeforindiana.com/signup_page/coons Thank you again for your help, your support for my campaign, and for those who'll stand with us in the Senate fighting to move our country forward.
