Dear 5th grade parents,


As you know, the Knighting Ceremony and Medieval Festival is fast
approaching! The program will be held in the Arts Center theater on
Wednesday afternoon, May 30th. The program will run from 2:40 - 3:15.
This will be followed by a Medieval Festival in the Meeting House,
beginning at 4:00. Students will change into their costumes and pack up
their belongings between 3:15 and 4:00.


A special note to those of you who have younger children at Lower
School who will need transportation to this campus on the afternoon of
the Knighting ceremony: If your child normally rides the shuttle bus,
you do not need to do anything more. However, if your child needs
transportation to join you on the Wisconsin Avenue campus to attend the
festival at 4:00, please email Barbara Conte by Tuesday, May 29 so we
can be certain there is enough room on the Shuttle Bus. You will then
need to send an Transport Change form on Wednesday to inform the LS
teachers. There is no charge for the transportation.


The shuttle will arrive between the end of the ceremony and the
beginning of the feast. You should plan to meet the bus at the garage
to pick up your Lower School child/ren.
