Buckley, FAIA, '70, '71 MED</strong> and <strong>Pam Williams, the Historic Properties Manager</strong>, for a tour and talk on July 16 from 10:30 am to 11:45 am of Belair. The tour will feature the historic Mansion House, the famous Stable and the Jockey Room and will last approximately an hour and a half. Belair Stables will remain open after the tour.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: 12px;">Belair was built between 1742 -1746. It was the home of the Second Provincial Governor of Maryland Samuel Ogle, and his wife, Ann Tasker Ogle. Belair was the home of thoroughbred racing in Maryland. While the early history of this great Federalist Mansion is compelling, it was during the late 19th and early 20th Century when it was owned by the Woodward family, that made Belair famous in racing history. This year, Mr. William Woodward Sr. was elected to the National Museum of Racing's Hall of Fame as Pillars of the Turf.</span></p>
