Dear Marathon Investor -

As our flagship readies for open, I thought it was important to highlight the great things that Marathon is doing in the local communities across the Western Cape. We chose to partner with Harambee, an NGO youth employment accelerator that works with economically disadvantaged youngsters from the townships that are locked out of the labor market. We recently hired 21 crew members and drivers who are earning their very first paychecks! Marathon sponsored their training at Harambee and post-graduation, they entered a very rigorous and intensive 5-week training circuit with our COO and RGM's. We are pleased that we had no failures and the result is a very motivated team and energized team.

We are gaining national recognition for investing in the highest unemployment segment in the country while building a loyal employee base. Please read the attached press release and employee profile for a flavor of what we are focused on.

Check out our new website which recently went live: www.marathonrestaurantgroup.com<http://www.marathonrestaurantgroup.com>

Looking forward to sharing photos and results of the opening in the coming days. We expect a very strong opening. We sincerely appreciate your continued support!

All the best,
Matthew
