Spent a bit of time with Dr. Patrick Francke yesterday here in Myrtle Beach. He helps out with our Know Your Score event and is a radiation oncologist. We were discussing the challenge of dealing with the bad press about psa testing and how it affects all of our ability to get already reluctant men to begin the testing and treatment process. He really got passionate about his feeling that this is a mission of the insurance-backed lobby to reduce having to pay for any testing.....sad that even the possibility of that being the case exists.
