Members at our offices this coming Monday evening and I wanted to make sure
to extend this invite to you as well. (Since this conversation is
strictly off the record, we're not planning to broadcast it online, but if

this excellent opportunity for the entire Truman community.

Berger's remarks and the following discussion will focus (only) on Asia, in
particular U.S. policy in Northeast Asia. Some of you may have seen the
recent essay he co-authored: Toward A New Model of Major Power
Relations<http://www.americanprogress.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/ChinaReport-Topper.pdf>
between
the United States and China. It emerges from a long series of Track II
dialogue engagements that informed discussions between President Obama and
Chinese President Xi at their summit in Sunnylands last year.
