Although fears of a military confrontation in Crimea or the Ukraine have
eased since Russia's initial intrusion, political developments have
accelerated during the last week. Vladimir Putin has completed the
annexation of Crimea while the new Ukrainian prime minister has signed a
political association agreement with the European Union. I have recorded
a podcast discussing the current state of play in the Ukraine, Crimea,
and Russia that explores how the situation could evolve going forward.
