I know - sorry it didn't work out in Istanbul, but it Robert was actually here in DC anyway. And at least Missy and her boss, Matt Echols, got to talk to Robert about it in person while they were all together here. Keep me in the loop on the coordination with Robert so we make sure it gets scheduled. I believe Robert will be in Jo'burg early next week - will you be there then?

I'll follow up with Andy and see what the latest is and let you know before you leave Nairobi.

Andy wasn't really interested in data on the energy sector which was very surprising. He hooked us up with his people in DC and it sounds like they are collecting data in Africa but leaving it up to the missions to do independently and haven't finalized their KPIs (or at least wouldn't share them with us.) Did I misread it? Did he express interest?

Wanted to let you know Missy was able to get us the right contact for you guys to connect with regarding Africa. Robert Mack is the new head of Government Affairs for Coca-Cola in Africa and he said he is happy to meet with you. He actually happened to be in DC at the same time Missy was so she was able to talk to him directly about Mobile Accord. I can't recall exactly when you will be in Africa but I know Robert has some travel planned to Johannesburg in the next week or so if your paths are able to cross. Otherwise, he is based in Istanbul. I will connect you and Robert via email directly so you can coordinate.

Also, when you get a chance, let me know where you left things with Andy Herscowitz. I can reconnect you guys if necessary or jump on a call with the two of you if you think that would help.
