Hunter,

Wanted to say hi and a belated thank you for meeting up with Rick when I
was in DC. So nice to see you! I only regret that we didn't have much
time so barely chance to catch up. There must be so much going on on your
side and I didn't even get a chance to ask!

Our CD in Rwanda was saying that your dad may be leading the US delegation
for the Rwanda genocide memorial on 7 April. If its the case, any chance
you would join? Let me know and I would try to go same time and we could
look at possibility of organizing field trip for you on the side. Long
shot I know but just checking in case.

Meanwhile I am in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire for a UN regional directors
meeting. It's my first time and it's pretty here, right on the water,
especially when you are looking from up high (21st floor). Down closer to
the ground its more than a bit polluted but I can see why this used to be
the pearl of Africa. The chocolate they produce here plus the heritage of
french pastries makes for a very nice (and dangerous) combo too! But
looking forward to returning to Nairobi tomorrow and having weekend with
the family. I have been traveling too much and it will keep up that way
for a while.

Hope all well,
V
