We arrived late, after the carriage Beau was to have ridden in departed. It ended up being better actually. Just as we arrived, the DNG a Humvee was pulling out of the staging area, and Beau and Hunter hopped in and stood with Gen Vavala. People were waving and cheering like crazy. Certainly the best reception the DNG Humvee has ever received. As Ron said on our ride home, an incredible showing of love and support for Beau. Pretty awesome to see.

We also handed out a bunch of Beau stickers, that appeared in a few photos.
After the parade, Beau, Hunter, Ron and I went to the Byrd Group's reception. Beau spoke with a handful of legislators and friends. Everyone was buzzing about how great it was to see him.
Beau did talk briefly to Ceilia Cohen. She asked him about the Biden/Schwartzkopf stickers.
We ended up leaving just as the NJ and AP reporters were walking up. Perfect timing.
