EDUCATION AND HEALTH CARE LEGISLATIVE ASSISTANT -
Democratic Senator seeks a Legislative Assistant to handle education, health care and labor issues. The portfolio will focus especially on college access, education reform and implementation of the Affordable Care Act. Individuals must possess strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, team-orientated environment. Ideal candidates will be detail-orientated, have 3-5 years of Hill, relevant non-profit, or private sector experience and a background in finding creative ways to promote student achievement for low-income populations. This is not an entry-level position. Delaware ties a plus.
