Parents,

This is Mike, Carly's Dad. Carly really enjoyed playing with the girls on
Saturday. Aimee and I were so impressed with how warmly the girls
welcomed Carly when she arrived for the game. They are a great group of
kids. We look forward to Carly playing more and more with the team as the
spring progresses. Aimee and I look forward to meeting those parents on the
team who we have not yet had the opportunity to meet.

As some of you know, I run the Virginia Hurricanes girls basketball program,
based in Arlington VA. I am writing to invite you to attend our annual
fundraising event on Saturday, May 7, 2011, from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm at the
Crystal City Sports Pub, located at 529 South 23rd Street in Arlington, VA
22202.

Coach Tim and Katie plan to attend the event, as well as my friend Andy
Stadnik. The event is a great opportunity for parents to socialize outside
the basketball court (and without our kids around!). Through this event we
hope to raise funds to provide financial assistance to families in our
program, conduct *free* skills clinics for girls in the community, and to
cover costs associated with running our program. All our coaches and
assistants are volunteers and receive no compensation.

Tickets cost $25 each. Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served. And there will
be a great silent auction. See attached flyer for more details.
