Let's discuss the California Endowment. Tim at NCR knows the CEO and wants to put us in touch with him on a variety of fronts. Most importantly they have a $3 billion (with a "B") endowment. See below. They may need help directing some of their investments and they may need help designing some programs. Tim apparently suggested to the CEO that we could be helpful. The California Endowment is a private health foundation, created after the conversion of BlueCross of California to a for-profit company, that provides grants to community-based organizations throughout California working to expand access to affordable healthcare and improve the health of residents of California.
