We are almost all set for costumes, scenery and props for our exciting May 20th class play production of “Where the Mountain Meets the Moon”.. however we are asking all of our "VILLAGERS" to bring in to school ASAP a pair of plain dark colored ( black, grey, dark brown, dark blue) long shorts, capri pants, leggings, or long pants that can be cut off in dull colors ... please no stripes or sports logos.

We are also looking for a straw mat (like the kind used at the beach) for a prop.

Also remember to check your child’s backpacks for latest CAMPING INFORMATION and PACKING LISTS sent home late this week.

MAY 7: EXPLORE AROUND THE WORLD WITH FRIENDS AT SPRING FESTIVAL
3-5 pm at Lower School. World Citizens for World Peace is a new initiative from the LSPA Diversity Committee which will take place at the Spring Festival this year. There will be fun and interactive ways for our children to learn about the different countries of the world from ambassadors, make their own unique peace design on a community World Citizens for World Peace Quilt, and more. MAY 7: COLLECTING HOUSEHOLD ESSENTIALS FOR A WIDER CIRCLE Spring clean, recycle and do your part to fight poverty by bringing gently-used household essentials to the Spring Festival. A Wider Circle is a local non-profit that helps families just moving out of shelters and into homes. They provide necessities (beds, linens, furniture, baby clothes-size 4T and smaller, baby items, car seats, toiletries, non-perishable food) that the families would otherwise not have.
