We came so close, team, but we didn't hit our goal Saturday night. It was our first big fundraising test of the general election, and we fell short by $4,721.

I know you've seen the guilt trip emails in your inbox before, and I don't want to be another one, but I need to be real with you: we can't afford to miss goals like this one.

Our first reporting deadline of the general election is on July 14 -- just two weeks from now, and if we fall short then it's a much bigger deal, and it's all public. So in just a sec, I'm going to ask you to chip in today to help us make up the difference.

The July 14 deadline is when all of our fundraising numbers go public, and folks start talking about our chances of keeping up with Kim Reynolds and the RGA's seemingly unlimited fundraising potential. As I've said before, and will probably say again, we know they're going to throw everything they can in to this race to keep their hold on Iowa -- and we're the only thing standing in their way.

I know our team can keep up, we just can't be complacent for even a moment. Our momentum across the state shows that we can win this -- but we can't do it without your help.
