I know what you are saying but my point was I think Huntsman's major negative could be less of one now and that enables him to emerge as an "establishment" candidate if Daniels doesn't run. There will clearly be an "establishment" candidate backed by the beltway crowd. In order to appeal to that crowd he'll argue he has the best chance to win against Obama. Despite the tea party crazies I am not sure there are enough of them to nominate a right winger over the course of a long primary (which on the GOP side is no longer winner take all). We'll see - hope they nominate a crazy. To me, nominee will likely be Daniels, Pawlenty or Huntsman. Wouldn't have put Huntsman in that category a couple of weeks ago.
