It provides essential but expensive assistive technology to ALS patients who
cannot afford it.
Because of this program and your donations, there has never been an ALS
patient in the greater Philade
lphia area that has gone

About The Scott Mackler 5K
It started in 1999, right after Scott was diagnosed with ALS. Anyone who's run it
in the past can attest to it being one of the toughest 5K's around, which is why
many people choose to take it light and walk. We have a full buffet after the run
and awards for top finishers, runners and walkers.
