Greetings to all, I know its the Holiday season and everyone is strectched so thin, but if you could all take a minute to scroll down and read the Holiday letter from the Illinois Brain Injury Association I would so be appreciative. Many of you know that I am a board member, but for those who don't, it is a really amazing association that provides service to thousands of men, women and children throughout the state with severe brain and spinal cord injuries. As you might imagine with hundreds of Illinois veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan we are also having to care for those who sustained blunt head trauma's and spinal cord injuries from IED's. For some we are the primary care provider for speech and physical therapy, for others who attend our conferences and summer camps we provide the only respite they get from the homes that many of them are confined to. I am mindful of how many of you give so much to so many, and how many of you I have asked for help over the years, and will understand if this year is just too tight. Any donation will be not only so appreciated, but put directly toward programs and our camp. We have almost no over head and push all the money straight to our patients.. Thank you all in advance for anything you can do. Happy Holidays Best MD Mdoyle1031 mdoyle1031@aol.com -----Original Message----- From: Brain Injury Association of Illinois <pldeckard@biail.org> To: mdoyle1031 <mdoyle1031@aol.com> Sent: Sun, Dec 18, 2011 10:50 am Subject: Season's Greetings from the Brain Injury Association of Illinois Having trouble viewing this email? Thank you so very much for your generous support of the mission and goals of the Brain Injury Association of Illinois. This year, like every year, we have been busy strengthening our programs and expanding our services. With more than a quarter of a million children, teens and adults in Illinois affected by acquired brain injury, you can imagine how much of a challenge it is to provide quality services. Your contribution is used to directly support the programs and services we provide to children and adults throughout the state of Illinois. Brain injury can happen to anyone at anytime...we are all at risk! This holiday season we are asking you to help us by making a contribution to the Brain Injury Association of Illinois. Again, we are so grateful to you for your past support. We are deeply appreciative for any support you are able to give us at this time.
