Dear Carlos - Please feel free to say no and reject right away as I realize that there are protocols involved in invites to gatherings in the VP's residence.

I have been invited to the holiday gathering 6-7:30 pm next Wednesday and am planning to attend - but just learned that my very good friend Richard Vague is going Sunday evening. I realize we must be in different pots.

My concern is not Richard - but rather my husband, Andrew, who will be in Mexico next Wednesday but who is here on Sunday - and Jill and Joe Biden love Andy, way more than me - Hunter can attest to this.

So, the question is whether or not my invite to Wednesday might be able to be moved til Sunday? If not possible, no worries - Andy can get a chance to connect another time. When I last saw the Vice President, he said he and Jill wanted to have 'him' over some time...I realize that is unlikely - but wanted to see what was possible.
