Greeting 12th Grade parents:****

As you most likely know, the end-of-year senior events have become very
dear to the 12th grade students, parents and caregivers. The Sidwell
Friends Administration has decided to depart with old traditions and to
take these events into a new, inclusive and exciting direction! This year
Polly Bomstein and I will be co chairing the Senior Celebratory Event, to
be held on Saturday evening, June 2, 2012.

There are many aspects of establishing this exciting new tradition that we
need help coordinating. In order to make this the most memorable event
ever, we are looking for volunteers to assist in the creativity and
implementation of the evening. We have already identified 15 different
volunteer positions ranging from small to not so small jobs and we are
hoping to get a wonderful cross section of parents and caregivers to
participate! Let’s make this an event to remember and have some fun!

We are in the process of scheduling a meeting the week of January 30th for
all those interested in volunteering, so please respond ASAP. Remember,
there is a place for all involvement.****

As soon as we have a date and location for the meeting, we will send
another announcement through the 12th grade reps.
