** 2/28: Kevin Quinn '02 on "Leaving god for Yale: Lux, Veritas, and Darkness"

Kevin Quinn ’02 will describe his experience as a Pentecostal child minister who arrived at Yale fully intent on remaining a devout Christian. His freshman year was a terrifying collision with the so-called secular world, eventually resulting in the dissolution of all his religious beliefs and a guarded acceptance of his sexuality. Join Mr. Quinn at 6:30 pm for a reception, followed by a lecture at 7:00 pm.

** 3/3: International Children's Animated Film Screening Series: Lu over the wall

Back by popular demand, our children's film series returns to Lu Over the Wall, a Ghibli-esque film which tells the story of a quiet boy named Kai who escapes the stresses of his fractured home life by composing music. A Japanese-style lunch at 11:00 am (with plenty of kid-friendly options) will precede the screening of the film at noon.
