24 HOURS, $140,000 LEFT TO RAISE. HELP FIGHT THE GOP NOW!

We're Democrats because we protect the powerless from the powerful. We stand up for what is right. And in 24 hours, our ability to do that is at risk. I need your help right away.

The final FEC deadline of 2011 is in 24 hours, and it's a big test of Democrats' ability to hold onto the Senate majority. If we fall short of our $140,000 goal, there is a real chance the Republicans seize control. Ten Senate races are dead heats, and they just need to flip 4 to take the majority.

If they do, we won't be able to stop their radical agenda. It's that simple. What you do (or don't do) right now will make the difference.

If we miss this goal, we won't have the resources to elect middle class champions like Elizabeth Warren. We won't hold the Senate. And you and I both know what Republicans will do if they take complete control of Congress.

They'll turn Social Security over to Wall Street. Make Medicare a voucher. And put insurance companies back in charge of health care. Republicans have their priorities, and the middle class doesn't even make the list.

My Democratic colleagues and I stopped House Republicans from raising taxes on middle class families by $1,000. We stopped Paul Ryan from repealing health care reform and ending Medicare as we know it. But if we lose 4 seats to the Republicans, we lose our ability stop any part of their extreme agenda.

Republicans have demonstrated that they are willing to do anything to protect millionaires and oil company CEOs, even if it means raising taxes on the middle class. We're Democrats because with us, the middle class comes first. Thank you so much for your help in meeting this goal. We can't save the Senate without your support.
