KABUL, June 22 (Reuters) - Afghan President Hamid Karzai fully supports the U.S. commander of foreign forces in the country despite his recall to Washington to answer questions about unflattering remarks aides made about the administration, a spokesman said on Tuesday

"The President strongly supports General McChrystal and his strategy in Afghanistan and believes he is the best commander the United States has sent to Afghanistan over the last nine years," said Waheed Omer.
